Compliance Administrator – Loughton

We are a leading education recruitment agency and are currently looking for a Compliance Administrator to join our successful compliance team in Loughton Essex.

JDS Recruitment are a highly experienced recruitment team, recruiting Teaching Assistants and Teachers for schools across London. This role holds significant importance to our growth plan, as we require more support to vet and clear candidates to work in our client schools.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensuring all registered candidates meet REC vetting standards

Applying for references and obtaining relevant documentation for candidates

Monitoring candidates that are due to expire, pre-empting and pushing for further documentation to be collected.

Reporting on Expired and working. Providing deadlines to collate documentation to consultants/compliance officers.

DBS Counter signatory. Checking correct documentary evidence supplied, countersigning DBS applications, advising consultants on errors. Contacting candidates about form errors where required and to request copies of received certificates.

Contacting DBS for queries and guidance, as necessary.

Notifying consultants of DBSs with Cautions/Convictions/Additional Info. Ensuring consultants have gained further information and inform schools.

Being knowledgeable on new policies and procedures within compliance and education

Working Hours:

Working hours are 9.00am am to 17.00pm. The teamwork reduced hours in the school holidays.
