Are you an experienced and passionate Teaching Assistant who loves to work and support pupils with sever and often challenging behaviour? 

Are you looking for a role within an Alternative Provision or Pupil Referral Unit or SEM Schools where no two days are the same?

Working alongside the Head Teacher, my school  is actively looking for an aspiring, passionate and motivated Teaching Assistant to support small groups and sometimes to provide one to one support for learners across Key Stages 3 and 4 (11-16 years). It is imperative you have the right level of behaviour management and personality often combined with a good sense of humour to support in this school

The successful candidate would be expected to have a background supporting challenging and disruptive students either in a Mainstream environment or within Pupil Referral Unit/SEMH School/Alternative Provision or similar challenging behaviour environments where students may have been temporarily or permanently excluded from school.

The TA| Teaching Assistant will be need to bring inspiration, motivation and certainly passion to this role ,where they can look to engage with often very disruptive and students with challenging behaviour.

Team Teach or any form of alternative forms or restraint training would be highly advantageous.

This role involves supporting secondary age children who have been permanently or temporary excluded from school. Many of the students referred have experienced behavioural, emotional or social difficulties in their previous schools.
