JDS Recruitment would like to hear from local Teaching Assistants who wish to be considered for several fantastic opportunities in local, Primary, Secondary and SEN schools right across Essex and East London, with an emphasis in the following areas: Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell, Epping, Harlow, Loughton, Ongar, Waltham Abbey, Redbridge and Waltham Forest. A high number of these opportunities are full time positions contracted for the remainder of the academic year, and some of these positions will go permanent from for the right candidate. To be considered for the roles of a Teaching Assistant, you will need to meet the following criteria: • Previous work based experience in a School or College, (voluntary or paid employment) • Good level of English and Mathematics •Working and supporting students with Special Educational Needs or Learning Difficulties is advantageous • Required to work cross curricular with ages 5-11 or 11-16 • Hit the ground running and are interested to take part in any extracurricular activities. • Drive, personality and passion • Some previous child related experience will be expected, summer camps, youth centres and tutoring whether paid or voluntary will all be considered. • Have strong classroom management skills. • Be able to deal with challenging or disruptive behaviour if required • Be able to use your own initiative and work as part of a team • Possess the passion to support learners in either Primary, Secondary or Special Education • Eligible to work in the UK (must have valid visa) • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/police checks My schools are looking to hear from reliable, loyal, hardworking, ambitious and inspiring Teaching Assistants.
