Full Description

JDS Recruitment are working with a SEN school based in Essex who are looking for SEN TAs to join their team for September 2023.

TA – Chigwell – PRU

TA Required for a Primary Residential PRU based in Chigwell.

The school: caters for pupils between 5 and 11 years old, who have an educational statement for social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.

Hours:

  • Monday 8:30am – 5pm
  • Tuesday 8:30am – 5pm
  • Wednesday 8:30am – 4pm
  • Thursday 8:30am – 4pm
  • Friday 8:30am – 3pm

Parking on site – Nearest station is Grange hill with an approx. of a 15-minute walk.

There are various outcomes available for the children once they leave the school, depending on their own particular needs and aspirations. Some children begin their transition into mainstream education, which can be done either locally or at a school near their home. Some children transfer to other specialist schools who can support learning or other specific needs such as Speech and Language, or ASC, while other children who continue to need behavioural support move onto SEMH/therapeutic schools.

All staff are supported with training and ongoing professional development throughout their time at the school.

Daily Rate: £85 – 100 per day dependant on experience

Position:

  • Working 1:1 with a learner who has a EHCP Plan.
  • MUST be resilient and Nurturing.
